Ultimately, the duties of a Recruitment Consultant is to build relationships both by phone and face to face to attract new business from clients. Multi-tasking is a huge part of the role so whilst generating new opportunities you will also be sourcing and developing relationships with candidates suited to roles in your specialism. The best people in recruitment have real drive, resilience, motivation and a positive mind-set so to us these are our most important requirements.
Recruitment is a sales based role and you will be spending a lot of time on the phone so any kind of cold sales experience is extremely beneficial however not essential as full training will be provided.
1.Winning new client business through cold calling, networking and marketing techniques and building a good understanding of types of Technology businesses you will recruit for, their industry and what's important to their work culture and environment 2.Organising interviews and giving feedback to both parties whilst also negotiating fees and terms 3.Strive to become an expert in your Technology specialism to be able to offer market and recruitment advice to both candidates and clients. 4.Working towards and exceeding targets relating to weekly/monthly deliverables and promotion criteria.
1.Educated to degree level or equivalent experience (ideally within a sales based role or similar) 2.A genuine interest in Technology and its impact on businesses 3.Articulate with a persuasive flair
