Back to Job SearchWe are recruiting Capital Project Lead to join a Pharmaceutical Capital project in the South East of the UK. As the Capital Project Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of a major capital investment program, supporting the construction of a cutting-edge R&D laboratory campus.
This is a project until the end of June 2027 and is fully site based due to nature of the role.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Capital Project Lead will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Capital Project Lead, you will develop comprehensive project plans, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and ensure project viability.
2. As the Capital Project Lead, you will drive and lead cross-functional project teams, assign tasks, and foster a collaborative team environment.
3. As the Capital Project Lead, you will develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors.
4. As the Capital Project Lead, you will oversee all phases of project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, safety, and quality standards.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Capital Project Lead, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field.
2. Extensive industry experience in project management within the biotech or pharma industry.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with project management software and methodologies.
