Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading waste management company based in the Cheshire area. As the Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the commercial interests of the delivery team and managing key client relationships.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Commercial Manager will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Managing the commercial relationship with Total Waste Management (TWM) clients and ensuring the delivery team’s commercial interests are protected at all times.
2. Leading, mentoring, and managing staff within the team, and supporting the work-winning team in reviewing and identifying risks and accountabilities within tender packs and associated contractual terms and conditions.
3. Preparing, developing, and implementing commercial strategies for both pre- and post-tender stages, and taking a leading role in the transition from tender to live projects.
4. Identifying and managing commercial risk on both new and existing contracts, ensuring contract compliance and performance, and preparing and implementing contract management processes.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Commercial Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1.Previous experience in waste management, building and managing a team.
2. Extensive industry experience in commercial management within the waste management sector.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with contract administration, including providing advice on contractual matters and drafting contractual/legal correspondence.
