Back to Job SearchWe are recruiting a Commissioning Lead to join a leading Pharmaceutical Capital project in the South East of the UK. As the Commissioning Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the transition of a new Labs and R&D facility from construction completion into safe, compliant, and fully operational use.
This is a project until the end of June 2027 and is fully site based due to nature of the role.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Commissioning Lead will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Commissioning Lead, you will develop and own the Commissioning Strategy, Commissioning Plan, and Master Commissioning Schedule.
2. As the Commissioning Lead, you will lead commissioning meetings and workshops with contractors, design teams, and stakeholders.
3. As the Commissioning Lead, you will ensure commissioning documentation is produced, reviewed, and approved, including pre-functional checklists, functional test procedures, and test results.
4. As the Commissioning Lead, you will act as the commissioning liaison with Operational Readiness, Operations, FM, HSE, IT, and Lab Users.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Commissioning Lead we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in engineering, building services, or a related field.
2. Proven industry experience as a Commissioning Lead/Manager on complex construction projects.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with building systems, MEP design, automation controls, and specialist lab systems.
