Construction Manager

We are recruiting a Construction Manager to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the Hertfordshire area. This is an initial 12 month contract with likely extension. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient planning, coordination, and execution of all shutdown activities. As the Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the facility's peak efficiency, meeting regulatory standards, and supporting long-term operational goals.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Construction Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Construction Manager, you will manage the day-to-day coordination of the shutdown contractors.

2. As the Construction Manager, you will develop roles and responsibilities matrix for the shutdown delivery team.

3. As the Construction Manager, you will develop systems and processes to support the safe delivery of shutdown projects.

4. As the Construction Manager, you will ensure compliance with construction delivery in relation to current regulations and good building practices.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Construction Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a related field.

2. Proven industry experience as a Construction Manager or managing shutdowns.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with construction lifecycle stages, including pre-construction, construction, and handover.
