We are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join a leading Life Science company based in the East Yorkshire area. As the Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data integration solutions.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Data Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from numerous data sources (from ERP to cloud-based systems).
2. Automate processes using appropriate scripting and integration tools.
3. Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout the projects.
4. Work closely with business users, IT teams, and project stakeholders to understand data structures and needs.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Data Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in data engineering projects and data warehousing.
3. Experience with Talend, Snowflake, and ETL tools.
