

We are currently looking for a Device Industrialisation Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in Cambridgeshire. As a Device Industrialisation Engineer, you will be instrumental in contributing to medical device and combination product projects.
This is an initial 12 month contract and is a hybrid position (50% onsite).
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Device Industrialisation Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Device Industrialisation Engineer, you will deliver key industrialisation activities on medical device and combination product projects within complex generics and biosimilar workstreams.
2. As the Device Industrialisation Engineer, you will provide expertise and input into device scale-up activities, including DFM, DFA, precision component moulding, and assembly.
3. As the Device Industrialisation Engineer, you will manage tech/design transfer activities for medical/pharma products moving from R&D into production.
4. As the Device Industrialisation Engineer, you will input into and write manufacturing-related sections of DHF documentation, manage suppliers, and oversee capital equipment acquisition.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Device Industrialisation Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, or other relevant subjects.
2. Extensive industry experience in the development of medical devices and/or combination products within a pharmaceutical, medical devices, and/or combination products setting.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with process development tools, industry-accepted risk management, and validation methods.
