

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor for a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. This role is to support during the critical shutdown phase and offers the chance to work on 12-hour night shifts. As the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems during the night shift.
Please note this is a contract position between the 23rd June to 15th August and you must be available in this period. For candidates that display exceptional performance, there could be opportunities to stay with the business longer term. During the shutdown period, you will be expected to work 12-hour shifts and this may include weekends.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Electrical Supervisor will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Overseeing the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment during night shifts.
2. Leading and mentoring a team of electricians, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards.
3. Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
4. Collaborating with other departments to address and resolve any electrical issues promptly.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Electrical Supervisor, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in electrical maintenance and supervision.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with electrical systems, troubleshooting, and team leadership.
