

We are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor - Shutdown to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong electrical background to support their operations during a critical shutdown phase. The role involves working on 12-hour shifts, providing crucial oversight to ensure the safety, maintenance, and operational efficiency of electrical systems.
This position is initially a contract from 29th June to 23rd August, with potential for longer-term opportunities for individuals demonstrating exceptional performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining production uptime during the shutdown period and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Electrical Supervisor - Shutdown will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment during shifts.
- Leading and mentoring a team of electricians, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with other departments to address and resolve any electrical issues promptly.
- As the Electrical Supervisor, you will ensure all electrical activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Electrical Supervisor, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven industry experience in electrical maintenance and supervision.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with electrical systems, troubleshooting, and team leadership.
