

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Designer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the Walloon Region, Belgium. This role offers the chance to work on innovative industrial projects, collaborating with internal design experts in a dynamic and compliance-driven setting.
This is a two year mission and can offer hybrid working (1-2 days p/w).
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Electrical Designer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Produce detailed electrical schematics and prepare validation notes for electrical calculations, including dimensioning, identifying inconsistencies, and proposing effective solutions.
- Update layouts related to electrical cabinets, electrical plans, and GMP-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze field data and propose 2-3 technical solutions based on operational constraints; perform occasional field checks when information is unclear.
- Apply internal standards and GMP rules diligently to ensure all project outputs meet regulatory and quality requirements.
- As the Electrical Designer, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and contribute to technical assessments that support manufacturing modifications.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Electrical Designer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in electrical engineering or related field (e.g., Electrical Design, Automation, GMP compliance).
- Proven strong, hands-on electrical expertise at a senior level, with proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD (MicroStation used internally), and a solid understanding of dimensioning, cables, electrical protections, and industrial impacts.
- Extensive experience working within industrial environments, preferably in pharmaceutical or GMP sectors, with the ability to produce and justify technical recommendations.
