An exciting opportunity for a Global Engineering Excellence Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical and biotech organization committed to asset management and operational excellence. This role is based within our client’s Asset Management Excellence Department, supporting a global environment that spans research, development, manufacturing, and support activities. The Global Engineering Excellence Specialist will play a pivotal role in deploying and consolidating engineering processes, fostering innovation, and driving continuous improvement across multiple sites and functions.
As part of the international team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels to implement strategic asset management frameworks, lead key projects, and promote a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence. This position offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly influence the performance, reliability, and lifecycle management of critical assets.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE
Your duties as the Global Engineering Excellence Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Develop, deploy, and continually improve global Asset Management frameworks and processes to enhance asset performance and lifecycle management across all sites.
• Lead and support Engineering Excellence initiatives such as technical reviews, commissioning & handover processes, decommissioning guidelines, and competence development.
• Drive change management efforts to promote adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working with internal teams and external partners.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage projects in a multicultural and matrix environment, ensuring alignment and delivery of objectives.
• As the Engineering Excellence Specialist, you will also contribute by designing solutions that improve process efficiency, safety, and compliance, while fostering stakeholder engagement and continuous learning.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Global Engineering Excellence Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in an engineering or scientific discipline related to pharmaceutical, biological, or medical device manufacturing.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years working within the pharmaceutical, biologics, or medical device industries, specifically with Engineering Excellence processes.
• Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong project and program management capabilities, including leading initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at various levels, negotiate effectively, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
