

We are actively recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Greater Manchester area. As the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing insights and transparency on overhead costs, supporting decision-making processes, and advising the business on key financial matters.
This role offers the flexibility of working 2 days onsite and 3 days from home, and is an initial 9 month contract. This position (depending on experience), can offer £38-43 p/h via an Umbrella company, 37.5 hours per week.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Finance Business Partner will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Finance Business Partner, you will lead the coordination and presentation of financial results to various business stakeholders, including actuals, outlook, budgets, and risk/opportunity analysis.
2. As the Finance Business Partner, you will build strong relationships with senior managers and their teams to drive innovation in reporting processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
3. As the Finance Business Partner, you will manage the consolidation and analysis of overhead costs, ensure accurate month-end closing, and support controlling activities for central functions and strategic projects.
4. As the Finance Business Partner You will support decision-making on overhead costs by providing insights into spend, capitalization, and FTE allocations across cost centers.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Finance Business Partner we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field.
2. Experience in financial analysis, business partnering, and international finance roles involving senior stakeholder exposure.
3. A working knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, accounting systems (preferably SAP), and financial reporting tools.
