

We are recruiting a Global Laboratory Expert to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the Walloon Region, Belgium. As the Global Laboratory Expert, you will be responsible for developing a global strategy for laboratory equipment and activities, ensuring compliance with Pharmacopeia, cGxPs, SOPs, Company Procedures, and Good Engineering Practices. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all engineering CAPEX projects adhere to these standards.
This is a mission initially until the end of December 2025, with likely extension depending on performance. The mission can offer hybrid (50% remote working) and the available budget for suitable candidates is 80-90 euro per hour (640-720 per day).
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Global Laboratory Expert will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Global Laboratory Expert, you will define and develop technical standards, including safety and green aspects, within laboratory and R&D environments.
2. As the Global Laboratory Expert, you will monitor and control technological developments in laboratory activities and equipment, dealing with laboratory stakeholders.
3. As the Global Laboratory Expert, you will lead and connect a global network of experts, both internal and external. Networking with internal and external employees and vendors such as lab equipment suppliers, ISPE, BioForum etc.
4. As the Global Laboratory Expert, you will provide technical recommendations for maintaining laboratory assets in good condition.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Global Laboratory Expert we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in laboratory equipment and activities. Experience in Pharmaceutical GMP would be a nice to have but not essential as we are looking for laboratory / R&D experience.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with cGxP/EHS regulations and guidelines.
