We are currently looking for a Global Medical Director / Global Medical Dermatology Lead (Psoriasis Focus) to join a leading biopharmaceutical company dedicated to advancing immunology and dermatology therapies. This is a high-visibility, strategic global role based remotely, offering the opportunity to influence medical strategies across multiple indications with a primary focus on psoriasis and cross-indication contributions.
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Affairs professional to shape global medical strategies and work closely with cross-functional teams, key opinion leaders, and internal stakeholders to ensure scientific excellence and strategic impact in the dermatology and immunology space.
This is a fully remote mission initially until the end of December 2026, with occasional travel to congresses. Candidates with the right to work in Europe can apply, except for candidates residing in the UK, Netherlands, Germany or Switzerland who unfortunately cannot be considered.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Global Medical Dermatology Lead will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Develop and update the global medical strategy specifically for psoriasis, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
• Serve as the scientific subject matter expert, supporting cross-functional teams with medical insights and strategic guidance.
• Lead publications, evidence generation, advisory boards, and review of scientific materials to support product development and market positioning.
• Maintain and develop a network of global KOLs to gather scientific and clinical insights, fostering strategic relationships.
• Collaborate with regional Medical Affairs teams, Market Access, and other internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive medical communication.
• As the Medical Director you will oversee medical excellence and scientific rigor across all deliverables related to psoriasis and broader immunology indications.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Global Medical Dermatology Lead we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in a relevant scientific or medical field (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD).
• Proven experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with a global or regional scope.
• Extensive expertise in dermatology or immunology (such as IBD, rheumatology), with proven experience in psoriasis preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead medical strategies and liaise effectively with cross-functional teams and external KOLs.
