Head of Commercial

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Head of Commercial to join a leading Pharmaceutical networking company based in London, with hybrid working options available. As the Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for driving commercial income through sponsorship, advertising, exhibition sales, and strategic partnerships.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Head of Commercial will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Lead the development and execution of a commercial strategy that aligns with the organisation’s broader objectives and annual growth targets. 

2. Manage the full sales cycle for sponsorship, advertising, and exhibition opportunities, ensuring accurate delivery of partner benefits and contractual commitments.

3. Act as the primary relationship manager for key commercial clients and sponsors, building long-term partnerships and identifying opportunities for renewal and upsell.

4. Maintain a live action tracker and KPI dashboard to monitor commercial performance, ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely reporting to senior management.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Head of Commercial we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Science or business related discipline (i.e. Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Business) with proven industry experience in commercial income generation, including sponsorship, advertising, and exhibition sales.

2. Proven track record in growing and diversifying revenue streams within the Life Sciences sector. 

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with key account management and partnership developments is expected on application
