Key Account Manager

We are currently looking for a Key Account Manager to join a leading Pharmaceutical Company that specializes in Biosimilar and Generic medicines. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to play a pivotal role in expanding access to high-quality medicines across the London and South East regions. The role offers an engaging mix of strategic account management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, all aimed at delivering meaningful health outcomes.

Based within a dynamic environment focused on innovation and patient access, you will contribute to the company's mission to shape the future of affordable healthcare. This position provides a fantastic platform for candidates motivated by making a tangible impact within the healthcare landscape.

This is an initial 18 month contract.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Key Account Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
  • As the Key Account Manager, you will achieve sales targets for promoted brands through effective key account management strategies.
  • As the Key Account Manager, you will develop and review account plans to maximize the use of internal and external resources, driving sales growth.
  • As the Key Account Manager, you will foster a positive environment across the territory for all promoted Sandoz products and initiatives.
  • As the Key Account Manager, you will maintain a deep understanding of the local health economy, ensuring patient access to Sandoz brands.
  • As the Key Account Manager, you will gather competitor intelligence, monitor NHS environment changes, and relay insights to support strategic decision making.
  • As the Key Account Manager, you will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, medical, and market access to support product promotion.
  • As the Key Account Manager, you will stay updated on NHS funding streams and local health economy developments to identify new opportunities.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Key Account Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
  • A Degree or higher level in a business or science subject.
  • Proven experience in branded (ethical) pharmaceutical sales, ideally with over 3 years in secondary care or NHS environments.
  • Strong IT skills and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in sales within the pharmaceutical industry, with a good understanding of the NHS landscape and NHS England.
  • In-depth knowledge of secondary care specialists, disease areas, and ICB networks would be advantageous.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
