

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for an LC-MS Technical Specialist to join a leading scientific technology company. As the LC-MS Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical expertise and support to both the sales team and customers.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the LC-MS Technical Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Provide technical expertise during pre-sales activities, including conducting technical discussions, assessing customer needs, and recommending fit-for-purpose solutions.
2. Plan and execute impactful product demonstrations, including analysing customer samples and generating compelling proof data and reports.
3. Deliver comprehensive training, method development support, and troubleshooting advice to ensure customer success and satisfaction with LC-MS/MS, HRAM, and MALDI products.
4. Develop new application notes, technical materials, and relevant content to support the growth of the product portfolio and expand into new markets.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the LC-MS Technical Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a scientific discipline such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, pharmacy, or biochemistry.
2. Proven industry experience with LC-MS/MS, particularly in quantitative mass spectrometry, along with a solid understanding of chromatography and mass spectrometry theory and applications.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with mass spectrometry software systems.
