

ROLE OVERVIEW
A leading company in the pharmaceutical industry is currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team based in the Leicestershire area. As the Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all maintenance activities, both planned and unplanned, are executed efficiently and in compliance with business and regulatory standards.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Maintenance Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Support Multi Skilled Maintenance of production equipment across the site, as well as support with compressed air, HVAC, purified water and steam.
2. Provide reactive engineering support for the GMP areas and other functions within the business, offering a variety of day-to-day tasks.
3. Manage and complete routine maintenance schedules, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently.
4. Supervise, co-ordinate, and work alongside external contractors to ensure seamless operations.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Maintenance Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related engineering field.
2. Proven industry experience in maintenance within a regulated environment. Experience with compressed air, HVAC, purified water and steam is also desirable.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
