Maintenance Planner

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Planner to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. As the Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of planned engineering maintenances and shutdowns, with a particular focus on utilities such as steam, water systems, and electricity.

This is an initial 9-12 month contract with possible extension.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Maintenance Planner will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Maintenance Planner, you will develop and manage detailed plans for engineering maintenances and shutdowns, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

2. As the Maintenance Planner, you will collaborate closely with the engineering team to review job scopes and ensure all necessary resources and tools are available.

3. As the Maintenance Planner, you will implement and manage the new Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ideally Hexagon, to streamline maintenance processes.

4. As the Maintenance Planner, you will ensure compliance with Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations and maintain a strong focus on the 'dirty' side of the engineering business.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Maintenance Planner, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.

2. Proven industry experience in engineering or maintenance planning, particularly within the utilities sector.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with CMMS implementation, ideally Hexagon or MainSaver.
