

ROLE OVERVIEW
An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join a leading global organisation within the chemical, manufacturing, or biotech sectors. Based within a dynamic environment, the Maintenance Planner will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and compliance of maintenance activities across the site, supporting the company’s strategic goals of growth and innovation.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Maintenance Planner will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to optimise operational efficiency and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.

Investigate complex breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, produce KPIs, and oversee contract activities as required.

Assist in resource planning, including manpower and materials, and manage reactive and proactive maintenance tasks.

As the Maintenance Planner, you will deputise for the Maintenance Team Manager and support continuous improvement initiatives.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Maintenance Planner we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Maintenance Management, or similar).

Proven site-based experience of at least 5+ years within chemical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries, with demonstrable SHEQ commitment.

Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities.

Capable of working independently or as part of a team, and developing effective relationships across all levels.

Strong IT skills; experience with SAP and CMMS systems are desirable but not essential.
