Back to Job SearchWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor for a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. This role is to support during the critical shutdown phase and offers the chance to work on 12-hour day shifts, providing the potential for career growth within a highly regulated environment.
Please note this is a contract position between the 23rd June to 15th August and you must be available in this period. For candidates that display exceptional performance, there could be opportunities to stay with the business longer term. During the shutdown period, you will be expected to work 12-hour shifts and this may include weekends.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Mechanical Supervisor will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the mechanical maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
2. Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure all machinery and equipment are operating at optimal levels.
3. Providing technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
4. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Mechanical Supervisor, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in mechanical supervision or a similar role.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with mechanical systems and maintenance procedures.
