

ROLE OVERVIEW
An exciting role awaits a talented Multi-disciplined Technician with a strong electrical bias to join a leading engineering company based in the Leeds area. As a Multi-disciplined Technician, you will be responsible for all day-to-day maintenance activities at one of our client’s locations, ensuring the smooth operation of essential systems and equipment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Multi-disciplined Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Diagnosing and repairing faults on a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment.
2. Conducting Root Cause Analysis and investigating recurring faults to engineer effective solutions.
3. Performing planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
4. Identifying and purchasing essential maintenance spares and preparing procedures and risk assessments for maintenance tasks.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Multi-disciplined Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a mechanical or electrical discipline, such as ONC/NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds qualification.
2. Proven industry experience in maintenance within a utilities plant or similar heavy industrial environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with plant and maintenance systems, including computer-based systems.
