Our client, a prominent company in the Healthcare Insurance sector, is seeking a Network Engineer to join their dynamic team based in the Brussels area. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Network Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Manage and maintain the network and security infrastructure, including Cisco Nexus, F5, Infoblox, Meraki SDWan/Lan/Wlan, and Checkpoint FW and VPN.
2. Ensure incident management in a 24/7 datacenter and customer environment, focusing on LAN/WAN.
3. Collaborate with a team on projects and routine management, providing support within the (W)LAN WAN domain.
4. Automate administrative and operational procedures via scripting, maintaining technical documentation, and guaranteeing network availability and security.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Network Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in network management and security infrastructure.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Cisco Nexus, F5, Infoblox, Meraki SDWan/Lan/Wlan, and Checkpoint FW and VPN.
