Payroll Specialist

ROLE OVERVIEW

A leading Pharmaceutical company is currently seeking an EMEA Payroll Specialist to join their team based in the hybrid working model, with a mix of on-site and remote work. This role is a 5-month contract starting in June to cover maternity leave. As the EMEA Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing payroll processes across various EMEA regions, ensuring compliance and timely payments.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the EMEA Payroll Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Coordinate and oversee accurate payroll information with third-party payroll providers for employees based in EMEA.

2. Review and verify payroll data, calculate overtime and other pay premiums, and enter payroll data in accordance with country regulations.

3. Perform payroll-related functions under country and local laws, including processing new hires, terminations, tax changes, and wage garnishments.

4. Communicate with employees of all levels regarding payroll matters and troubleshoot complex issues.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the EMEA Payroll Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a related field.

2. Proven industry experience in EMEA payroll management.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and payroll compliance across various countries.
