

ROLE OVERVIEW
An exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join a leading healthcare organization as they enhance patient medication management and pharmacy services. Our client, a reputable provider in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a dedicated professional to deliver outstanding pharmaceutical care, ensure regulatory compliance, and support their commitment to patient safety. Reporting to the General Manager and Pharmacist In-Charge, the successful candidate will play a key part in dispensing prescriptions accurately, coordinating medication shipments, and supporting pharmacy operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a passion for community health and a proven track record in retail pharmacy settings.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Pharmacist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• To ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, maintaining compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines.
• Review prescriptions, inputting accurate medication data, and managing shipment preparation in adherence packaging systems.
• Engage with patients to gather medical histories, provide medication advice, and ensure safety through personalized care.
• Perform drug utilization reviews, facilitate prescription transfers, and support the setup of medication devices in patients’ homes.
• As the Pharmacist, you will oversee pharmacy technicians, ensure the proper maintenance of dispensing machines, and support shipping and billing operations.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Pharmacist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in Pharmacy (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Quality Assurance / Quality Management).
• Valid RPh license in Florida and a minimum of 1 year of professional pharmacy experience in a retail setting, including closed door experience.
• Proven expertise in utilizing pharmacy software, with hands-on experience in automation and long-term care environments.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with elderly patients, providing compassionate and clear guidance.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a decentralized team.
