Back to Job SearchAn exciting opportunity for an experienced Piping Designer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the Walloon Region, Belgium. This role offers the chance to work on innovative industrial projects, collaborating with internal design experts in a dynamic and compliance-driven setting.
This is a two year mission and can offer hybrid working (1-2 days p/w).
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Piping Designer will be varied, however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Support the technical team by updating and maintaining P&ID diagrams and 2D layouts to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.
• Perform small to medium piping modifications, including tubing, equipment, and valves, to meet project specifications.
• Conduct occasional site visits as needed to clarify design requirements and facilitate effective collaboration.
• Work closely with the technical lead to validate modifications, ensuring all designs adhere to GMP standards.
• As the Piping Designer, you will manage a high volume of small projects efficiently, demonstrating reliability and strong communication skills.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Piping Designer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in a relevant technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent).
• Proven strong piping and P&ID expertise, with substantial experience working in industrial environments.
• Excellent proficiency with MicroStation is essential.
• Comfort working solely in 2D environments, with a good understanding of GMP/pharmaceutical standards.
• Fluency in French is required.
