Process Engineer

We are recruiting a Process Engineer to join a leading Pharmacuetical company based in the Walloon Region, Belgium. As the Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the technical aspects of a manufacturing gene therapy building for biological production. This large-scale investment project involves a fully process single-use facility equipped with a customized PCS7 system.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Process Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Process Engineer, you will coordinate all technical activities, including planning and troubleshooting with engineering contractors.

2. As the Process Engineer, you will ensure systems are technically ready for water runs and handover to maintenance and users.

3. As the Process Engineer, you will review and approve updated technical documentation, and organize user training.

4. As the Process Engineer, you will ensure compliance with HSE requirements and rules.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Process Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in engineering or a related field.

2. Extensive industry experience in pharmaceutical or biotech environments.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with single-use systems and equipment installation and commissioning.
