Product Owner

ROLE OVERVIEW

Our client, a leading organisation in Healthcare Insurance, is seeking a Senior Product Owner to join their team based in Brussels. As the Senior Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business and IT, guiding the organisation into the Digital Age.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Senior Product Owner will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Develop a thorough understanding of business objectives and processes to make informed product prioritisation and improvement recommendations, with a special focus on cost optimisation.

2. Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy and identify and prioritise needs.

3. Lead product strategy, planning, and lifecycle management activities, monitoring business, market, and technology trends to keep the product strategy up-to-date.

4. Create product roadmaps and release plans that meet customer needs and achieve business objectives, translating business needs into concrete product and technical requirements.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Product Owner we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.

2. Extensive industry experience in a Product Owner role within the IT sector, preferably in Hybrid Infrastructure.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Agile methods, Jira, and Confluence.
