Back to Job SearchWe are recruiting a Project Planner to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Walloon Region, Belgium. As the Project Planner, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating capital investment projects within the engineering department.
This is an initial 6 month contract with possible extension. The mission can offer hybrid working (2 days remote) per week and the available budget is 640-700 per day.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Project Planner will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Project Planner, you will develop and maintain project schedules, including resources, timelines, costs, and risks. Lead planning sessions and interface with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
2. As the Project Planner, you will track and optimize the use of resources using tools like MS Project and Planisware to create a consolidated capacity management view. Forecast resource needs and identify bottlenecks.
3. As the Project Planner, you will monitor project progress, provide regular reports on progress, critical path analysis, and potential issues. Create detailed progress reports and interactive dashboards for clear visibility on project status.
4. As the Project Planner, you will conduct "What if" scenario analyses to anticipate challenges and develop contingency strategies. Ensure all projects comply with global project management standards and maintain the quality of deliverables.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Project Planner, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in chemistry, biology, engineering, or pharmaceutical sciences.
2. Proven industry experience in CAPEX project planning or a similar role.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and Planisware.
