QC Microbiology Technologist

An exciting opportunity for a Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join a leading Pharmaceutical organisation based in the Bekrshire area. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as the Microbiology Laboratory Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Carry out microbiological testing to support product qualifications, routine testing, and environmental monitoring.
  • Record, review, and document results in compliance with GMP and cGMP requirements.
  • Review data, identify concerns or anomalies, and communicate issues clearly to QC management.
  • Maintain laboratory standards through housekeeping, equipment care, and inventory checks.
  • Support media, reagent, and method qualification activities.
  • Follow all relevant safety procedures when performing laboratory tasks.
  • As the Microbiology Laboratory Technician, you will ensure all GMP training is kept up to date and complete required learning on time.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Microbiology Laboratory Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
  •   A Degree or higher level in a life science discipline (e.g., Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology) or equivalent experience.
  •   Practical experience in microbiological techniques within a regulated environment.
  •   Clear understanding of good documentation practices and GMP standards.
  •   Ability to assess results, spot anomalies, and escalate concerns appropriately.
