

We are recruiting a QC Raw Materials Scientist to join a leading company in the life sciences industry based in the Berkshire area. This role offers a unique chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where your skills and contributions will be highly valued. As the QC Raw Materials Scientist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) while working in a clean room environment.
This is an initial 6 month contract with potential extension thereafter.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the QC Raw Materials Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the QC Raw Materials Scientist, you will accurately dispense required weights and volumes of raw materials while maintaining GMP standards.
2. As the QC Raw Materials Scientist, you will maintain calibration dates, schedules, and logbooks, and coordinate with other departments.
3. As the QC Raw Materials Scientist, you will train and support junior team members, ensuring high standards of documentation and cleanliness.
4. As the QC Raw Materials Scientist, you will assist with internal, customer, or regulatory audits and complete any assigned actions.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the QC Raw Materials Scientist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Chemistry or a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in a laboratory environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with GMP and chemical/biochemical techniques.
