

ROLE OVERVIEW
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a QC Technician to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Norfolk. This is an entry level role that offers a fantastic chance to be part of a dynamic team within a company that values quality, innovation, and a friendly working culture and gain experience working in a Pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will support the QC department at a fully integrated pharmaceutical site, contributing to the safe and efficient production of medicines and healthcare products.
This position is ideal for someone looking to develop their career within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, providing hands-on experience in laboratory operations, material inspection, and quality assurance procedures. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the QC Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Support the QC team by maintaining a clean and well-stocked glassware supply to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
- Purchase and manage laboratory consumables to uphold efficient testing and inspection processes.
- Assist with the safe disposal of laboratory samples in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Handle administrative tasks, including documentation verification, sample transportation, and record keeping.
- As the QC Technician you will be trained and adhere to all procedures related to Quality, GMP, hygiene, and health & safety standards, actively participating in investigations and reporting issues where appropriate.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the QC Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Levels or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Sciences, Chemistry, Biology).
- Proven ability to follow strict procedures and maintain high attention to detail in a regulated environment.
- Strong communication skills and proficient in computer packages, including MS Word & Excel.
