Back to Job SearchWe are recruiting a QC Technologist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in Berkshire. As the QC Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing test support within the Biochemistry teams, ensuring the flawless execution of work and maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant laboratory environment.
This is an initial 12 month contract.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the QC Technologist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the QC Technologist, you will perform sample testing in accordance with SOPs on a variety of samples including release, stability, in-process, and method transfer validation.
2. As the QC Technologist, you will document all test results promptly and escalate any issues or delays to the Line Manager.
3. As the QC Technologist, you will support the QC department with the completion of investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls as needed.
4. As the QC Technologist, you will actively contribute to general lab housekeeping and ensure the laboratory is adequately stocked with reagents and consumables.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the QC Technologist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Science, Biochemistry, or Chemistry.
2. Proven industry experience in a pharmaceutical or biological setting.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with laboratory safety best practices and quality control procedures.
