

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Biochemistry Laboratory Technician to join a leading organisation within the pharmaceutical and biological sector. This exciting opportunity is based in a dynamic environment where your technical skills and attention to detail will be vital in supporting the quality control (QC) processes.
As part of the biochemistry team, you'll play an essential role in performing sample testing, maintaining laboratory standards, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Biochemistry Laboratory Technician will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Support the Biochemistry team's testing activities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant results in accordance with SOPs.
• Perform sample testing on a broad range of samples, including release, stability, in-process, and method transfer validation.
• Document all test results thoroughly and escalate any issues or delays to the Line Manager promptly.
• Maintain a safe laboratory environment, adhere to safety best practices, and contribute to general lab housekeeping.
• As the Biochemistry Laboratory Technician, you will assist in investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls as required.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Biochemistry Laboratory Technician, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biochemistry, Chemistry).
• Proven ability to perform sample testing in a regulated laboratory environment, with an understanding of GMP or GLP standards.
• Good documentation skills and familiarity with quality records such as deviations, investigations, and change controls.
• Strong awareness of safety protocols and a proactive approach to lab maintenance and process improvement.
