Quality Assurance Officer

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are supporting a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area who are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Officer. This role offers a chance to be at the forefront of ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance within a dynamic environment. As the Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the Quality Management System, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Quality Assurance Officer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Ensure the Quality Management System is maintained and sufficient for accreditations held.

2. Perform self-inspections at regular intervals and implement necessary corrective measures.

3. Review and approve specifications, methods, and artwork, supporting regulatory submissions.

4. Manage Master Batch Production Records (BPRs) and Batch Analysis Records (BARs), including amendments and updates.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Quality Assurance Officer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a scientific or technical discipline.

2. Proven industry experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical sector.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Quality Management Systems and regulatory compliance.
