Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Systems and Operations Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the East Sussex area. As the Quality Assurance Systems and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, leading the QA team, and ensuring compliance with GMP standards.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Quality Assurance Systems and Operations Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Maintain and improve the Custom Quality Management System.
2. Lead the QA team, working with Operations and Technical Services to ensure timely delivery and compliance with cGMP standards.
3. Support the Qualified Person release process as required and ensure all applicable pharmaceutical Quality Systems are in place and effectively managed.
4. Evaluate GMP/licence compliance and communicate requirements to all departments to achieve compliance.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Quality Assurance Systems and Operations Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a science-based discipline (i.e Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Management / Quality Assurance / Pharmaceutical Quality) with proven industry experience leading a the quality team for a small molecule GMP compliant pharmaceutical company.
2. A proven track record in supporting the development of team members, especially in the field of vendor assurance and supplier management, will be taken priority on application.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with regulatory guidelines and requirements such as MHRA, FDA, and ICH is expected.
