

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Radiopharmacy Technician to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the London area. As the Radiopharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for the production of PET radiotracers for clinical use, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Radiopharmacy Technician will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Manufacture PET radiopharmaceuticals using hot cell and isolators, ensuring aseptic dispensing and adherence to radiation protection techniques.
2. Maintain the clean room environment, including sanitation, environmental monitoring, and stock control of laboratory consumables.
3. Perform quality control procedures to analyse the radionuclide and radiochemical purity of radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with GMP standards.
4. Adhere to corporate guidelines and legal procedures related to quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Radiopharmacy Technician, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Chemistry or closely a related science field.
2. Proven industry experience in aseptic dispensing or radiopharmacy, or working with isolators.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with pharmaceutical chemistry and good manufacturing practice.
