

ROLE OVERVIEW
A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in the Hertfordshire area is seeking a dedicated Refrigeration Engineer. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment where you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliable supply of services to production. As the Refrigeration Engineer, you will have the chance to apply your skills in both planned and reactive maintenance, while continuously seeking ways to enhance plant operations through innovative ideas and modifications.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Refrigeration Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Perform scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on utility equipment, including industrial/commercial refrigeration systems.
2. Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on utilities equipment at the facility.
3. Record equipment history on the engineering computer system and complete quality system documentation as required.
4. Provide detailed handovers to Engineering colleagues, ensuring compliance with procedures, Health and Safety requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting position as the Refrigeration Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Servicing and Maintaining Refrigeration Systems or Equivalent.
2. F-GAS certification.
3. Proven industry experience in the Refrigeration service sector.
4. IT literate with good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
