Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a Reliability Engineer to join a global pharmaceutical business at their site in Hertfordshire. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Reliability Engineer, you’ll take the lead in developing and embedding a sustainable reliability programme. Working alongside Production, Engineering, Projects, and Quality teams, you’ll reduce downtime, cut maintenance costs, and boost overall equipment effectiveness – helping shape a site striving for World Class asset management.

Your duties as the Reliability Engineer will be varied, however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

•    Leading reliability initiatives to minimise production losses and improve asset performance.

•    Using root cause analysis and predictive maintenance tools to solve problems before they happen.

•    Providing hands-on technical support and coaching across maintenance and performance strategies.

•    Partnering with capital projects to influence the design and installation of new or upgraded assets.

•    Analysing key KPIs (OEE, MTBF, MTTR) to optimise plant performance and drive continuous improvement.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Reliability Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

•    You will be Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline.

•    Experience working as a Reliability / Production Engineer in a pharmaceutical or similar highly regulated engineering environment.

•    Strong knowledge of CMMS, predictive maintenance techniques, and risk assessment tools (RCA, FMEA, Criticality Analysis).
