

Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join a long-established and internationally recognised manufacturer of advanced materials.
This position offers the chance to become part of a technically driven and family-oriented organisation supplying engineered refractory solutions to high-temperature industries including glass, steel, cement, and petrochemical sectors.

Key Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for managing and developing customer relationships across designated international territories (Europe or Asia), supporting both existing clients and new business opportunities.
Your role will involve:

Acting as the main point of contact for customers, understanding their material and performance requirements.

Collaborating with internal technical and production teams to agree on specifications and pricing.

Presenting technical solutions to clients, demonstrating the advantages of the company’s unique materials and manufacturing processes.

Managing long-term sales cycles, tracking rebuild and maintenance schedules for large-scale industrial furnaces.

Negotiating commercial terms and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction throughout each project.

Representing the company at international customer sites, conferences, and trade events.

Maintaining accurate client and sales records to support forecasting and business planning.
Requirements

Degree in Materials Science, Geology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical discipline.

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain and discuss material performance and engineering concepts.

Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Previous experience in industrial or technical sales is desirable but not essential.

Willingness to travel internationally, specifically Europe and Asia.
