

We are recruiting a Research Scientist – Immune Reset to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the Berkshire area. As the Research Scientist – Immune Reset, you will play a pivotal role in advancing therapeutic molecules through various stages of research and clinical development.
This is initially a 12 month contract with possible extension thereafter.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Research Scientist – Immune Reset will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Research Scientist – Immune Reset develop and perform functional assays for screening, mechanism of action, and target validation studies.
2. As the Research Scientist – Immune Reset analyse and interrogate scientific data, demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. You will work with software packages for data analysis (e.g., Flow Jo, GraphPad Prism, Excel, and R).
3. As the Research Scientist – Immune Reset communicate effectively and work collaboratively across multiple projects, presenting experimental data at cross-functional meetings.
4. As the Research Scientist – Immune Reset maintain compliance with human tissue act regulations and ensure health and safety protocols are followed.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Research Scientist – Immune Reset we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a scientific discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in performing functional immune cell assays, including cytotoxicity assays, proliferation assays, and mixed lymphocyte reactions. Proficiency in relevant software packages for data analysis such as Flow Jo, GraphPad Prism, Excel, and R.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry, including the design of large antibody panels for deep profiling of immune cell subsets.
