We are currently looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join a leading medical manufacturing company based in the Suffolk area. As the Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new products, improving existing designs, and leading the creation of key technical documents within the technical file.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Design Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Utilising 3D CAD Autodesk Inventor for design and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
2. Producing Bills of Materials (BOM) and assembly instructions.
3. Producing Verification and Validation (V&V) test plans and implementing them.
4. Contributing to Instructions for Use (IFU) and service manuals.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Design Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in mechanical engineering with knowledge of electronics/software.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with 3D CAD software, particularly Autodesk Inventor.
