

ROLE OVERVIEW
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior SME E&I to join a leading pharmaceutical company’s ambitious new facility project. Our client is developing a state-of-the-art three-floor production and packaging site dedicated to innovative healthcare solutions. This pivotal role offers the chance to be a key technical lead during a fast-paced, high-profile construction phase, ensuring flawless execution from commissioning to project completion.
As part of a specialized team, the Senior SME E&I will oversee all electrical and instrumentation aspects of the project, working collaboratively with subcontractors, engineering partners, and internal teams. This is a unique chance to contribute to a groundbreaking development in the biotech/pharmaceutical sector, within a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE
Your duties as the Senior SME E&I will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

Serve as the technical reference for all Electricity & Instrumentation (small current) elements, ensuring compliance and technical excellence throughout project execution.

Challenge and review subcontractor deliverables during installation and commissioning phases, maintaining rigorous standards for quality, safety, and schedule.

Follow up on planning, budget, and contractual obligations, providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure seamless project delivery.

Prepare and review detailed technical documentation including system supply overviews, network design specifications, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, and control datasheets.

Integrate E&I constraints into room planning and equipment layouts, coordinating with project teams.

As the Senior SME E&I, you will coordinate with engineering offices, vendors, and contractors, ensuring all technical aspects are addressed effectively.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior SME E&I we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

A Degree or higher level in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Automation, Controls).

Proven experience in pharmaceutical or biotech environments, with extensive involvement in CAPEX projects, and familiarity with GMP, safety, and environmental regulations.

Strong expertise in electricity & instrumentation (small current), including knowledge of low/high voltage, transformer interfaces, and complete building systems.

Fluent in both French and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work autonomously, take initiative, and manage multiple work streams effectively.
