

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Senior Food Auditor to join a leading global assurance provider based in the food industry sector. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Senior Food Auditor will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Conduct verification and assessment of management systems in the food industry, either independently or as part of a team, ensuring compliance with industry and accreditation standards.
• Lead and contribute to audits, focusing on quality management, food safety, and technical compliance across a diverse array of clients.
• Act as a technical expert, providing guidance and advice on food safety and quality standards to clients and internal teams.
• Develop and deepen client relationships by acting as a trusted sparring partner and ensuring excellent service delivery.
• As the Senior Food Auditor, you will support the development and improvement of our auditing services and contribute to the growth of the organization’s expertise and client base.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Food Auditor we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in the food industry (e.g., food technology, process engineering, or related field).
• Proven minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in food production, quality management, and food safety within the food sector.
• Hold at least one qualification for 3rd party auditing in IFS Food, BRC Food, or similar standards; additional qualifications in ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, proactive attitude, and assertiveness with leadership and stakeholder management experience.
• Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written Dutch, English, and preferably French.
• Confidence in using ICT tools for remote auditing, such as Skype and MS Teams.
