

ROLE OVERVIEW
A leading company in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join their dynamic team in the South of England. As the Senior Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing procurement services across the business, ensuring efficient and effective purchasing support.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Procurement Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Challenge the status quo to deliver outstanding purchasing support.
2. Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best commercial terms.
3. Provide purchasing support to various departments including R&D, Manufacturing, and Finance.
4. Drive continuous improvement of purchasing processes and manage vendor portfolios.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Procurement Specialist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in procurement.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with SAP/IFS systems.
