

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Senior Scientist in In-vitro Biologist to join a leading biopharmaceutical company based in the UK to support their innovative immune reset and cellular therapy programs. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated scientist to contribute to cutting-edge research at the forefront of cellular immunotherapy and regenerative medicine.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in designing, developing, and testing CAR T cell therapies, helping to advance novel treatments targeting immune modulation and tissue repair within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Senior Scientist in In-vitro Biologist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Design and construct vectors for CAR T cells targeting specific antigens, supporting the development of targeted cell therapies.
• Develop and refine protocols for CAR T cell synthesis, transduction, and expansion to optimize efficiency.
• Perform in-vitro functional assays, including cytotoxicity, cytokine release, and persistence tests to evaluate CAR T cell activity.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to integrate CAR T cell strategies into broader drug discovery and immune modulation programs.
• Analyse experimental data, prepare detailed technical reports, and share findings with internal stakeholders.
• As the Senior Scientist in this role, you will stay updated with emerging CAR T technologies and contribute to strategic platform development.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Scientist in In-vitro Biologist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in CAR T cell design, vector construction, and in-vitro functional testing.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced research environment, with strong problem-solving skills.
