

We are recruiting a Senior Scientist, In vivo to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Senior Scientist, in vivo you will be responsible for providing strong scientific expertise and hands-on delivery to support ongoing discovery and early development programs.
This is an initial 12 month contract, with likely extension.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Scientist, in vivo will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Senior Scientist, in vivo you will design, plan, and directly execute in vivo studies supporting target identification, validation, and translational pharmacology.
2. As the Senior Scientist, in vivo you will provide hands-on technical expertise in in vivo immunology models, ensuring appropriate model selection and scientific rigor.
3. As the Senior Scientist, in vivo you will generate, analyse, and interpret high-quality in vivo data in line with project timelines.
4. As the Senior Scientist, in vivo you will support the establishment, optimisation, and validation of in vivo models, including oversight of outsourced studies with CRO partners where required.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting position as the Senior Scientist, in vivo we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Pharmacology, Immunology, or a closely related discipline, with relevant post-doctoral or industry experience in drug discovery.
2. Proven industry experience in in vivo pharmacology and immunology models relevant to inflammatory and immune-mediated diseases. You must have a Home Office Licence.
3. Proven industry experience in Flow cytometry, ELISA, MSD and Luminex assays.
4. A working knowledge and practical experience with designing robust in vivo experiments and critically assessing and interpreting complex datasets.
