

We are recruiting a Senior Scientist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the Berkshire area. As the Senior Scientist you will play a crucial role in advancing therapeutic molecules through various stages of research and clinical development. This position offers the chance to work on groundbreaking projects and make significant contributions to the field of biotechnology.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Scientist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Senior Scientist you will develop and perform relevant functional assays for screening, mechanism of action, and target validation studies as appropriate.
2. As the Senior Scientist you will analyse and interrogate scientific data, demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
3. As the Senior Scientist you will demonstrate excellent communication and team-working skills to work across multiple projects.
4. As the Senior Scientist you will disseminate data for wider review and present experimental data at cross-functional meetings.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Scientist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a life sciences discipline (PhD highly preferable).
2. Proven industry experience in developing and optimising in-vitro cell-based assay systems.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry, including the design of antibody panels.
