

We are recruiting a Tax Technology Manager to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the London/Surrey border. As the Tax Technology Manager, you will be responsible for delivering key digital tax reporting projects across European entities, focusing on the technical implementation and configuration of E-invoicing and/or Standard Audit File solutions.
Please note this is a 12 month contract inside IR35 via an Umbrella company, and the offered rate will be £320-£425 per day depending on experience. The role is remote working with 1 day per month on site.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Tax Technology Manager will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Tax Technology Manager, you will act as the primary tax project lead for E-invoicing and/or SAF-T implementation projects in various European jurisdictions.
2. As the Tax Technology Manager, you will translate complex local tax authority mandates and business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements for system configuration and data extraction.
3. As the Tax Technology Manager, you will lead the comprehensive mapping of data fields from source ERP systems to the required E-invoicing or SAF-T schema, and configure and test data transformation rules.
4. As the Tax Technology Manager, you will work closely with the IT team and external technology vendor to ensure seamless integration between core ERP systems, tax engines, and e-reporting platforms.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Tax Technology Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in hands-on, end-to-end implementation of E-invoicing and/or SAF-T solutions.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with data mapping and transformation tools/techniques, and familiarity with major ERP systems.
