We are currently looking for a Biochemistry Laboratory Technician to join a leading pharmaceutical organization based in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about quality control and laboratory support within the biochemistry sector. You will be instrumental in supporting the laboratory teams to ensure accurate testing and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with sample testing, maintaining lab safety and cleanliness, and supporting investigations and documentation processes. This position offers a great entry point into the pharmaceutical industry, providing hands-on experience in quality control operations.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Biochemistry Laboratory Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Provide test support within the Biochemistry team, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of laboratory work.
• Perform sample testing in accordance with SOPs on a variety of samples, including release, stability, in-process, and method transfer validation.
• Document all test results promptly and escalate any issues or delays to the Line Manager.
• Support investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls as needed to maintain quality standards.
• As the Biochemistry Laboratory Technician, you will support process improvements and contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant laboratory environment.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Biochemistry Laboratory Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in a scientific field such as Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Proven understanding of laboratory procedures within a pharmaceutical or biological setting.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
• Good knowledge of safety procedures and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment.
